Eloping to Charleston --Need help with site location

This will be the 2nd marriage for both of us & we just want to elope. We just spent Christmas in Charleston and would love to elope there...just the 2 of us. Can anyone give any advice on a place where we could stay and get married that could do outside or indoors if it rains in Charleston or the surrounding beach areas? We live in NC, so I need help from experts in the area! Thanks!

The company that runs the Wentworth Mansion and a few other historic properties has a few wedding packages on their website. That might be a great option for you! Good luck!

The gazebo at Battery Park is a pretty site. We had friends who got married there a few weeks ago, and they had a standing ceremony of about 15 people. Everyone will fit under the gazebo too. So if it rains, it won't be too big of a deal.

I believe it is around $450 to rent, but you'd have to check on that. Here are a few pictures of it:

There are also about a million small inn's in the historic areas of Charleston where you could hold a very small ceremony.

Try Planter's Inn; they have a lovely garden area and the attached restaurant is Peninsula Grill
