Fort Wayne (or surounding) Photographers??

Hi! My fiance and I finally decided to have our wedding in Ft Wayne (vs. Lexington where we live now). The most important thing to me in the Photographer, but I've had trouble finding one in the area that I love AND is in our budget (around 2400).

We're looking for one with 2 photographers, 10+ hours, the rights to the pictures, and an engagement session (we could do without if they're closer to 2000 because we could do one here instead).

We like the artsy/un posed look.  Any suggestions would be great! We've looked in Indy as well because most people's travel fee isn't bad considering it's only 2 hours.

    Check out Amanda Fales Photography--they should be around your budget and get everything that you want.  It's a husband/wife team based out of Indy--I used them for my South Bend wedding and it was the BEST decision--amazing pictures and fun photogs to spend your day with!

    We used Mahara Photography, based out of Fort Wayne. The last I looked, it was around $1500 for all day, from getting ready to the end of the reception. It's also a husband/wife team and they are great, very friendly and easy to contact. They shoot in a photojournalistic style, not lots of posed stuff, which is what we wanted.

    I looked at Amanda Fales online, but she starts at $3400 on Saturdays. I love her pictures though! THey must have raised their prices.

    I'm using Judy http://photoartistrybyjudy.com/ She has a package that is a little more than what you wanted to spend but she's got amazing work. She can do posed or unposed  - you decide and adding a second photographer was only $100.

    I also looked at Kyle http://www.kstevensonphoto.com/ It's a husband/wife team. They have GREAT work and also offer a photobooth. They'll be in your budget.

    Ron Carpenter was a guest at my wedding--friend from DH's side.  I had no idea he was a photographer or even taking pictures until a couple days later he posted a slideshow on Facebook.  I cried when I saw it!  His pictures came out so much better than my hired photog (who is very in-demand).  His prices are very reasonable and I think he is someone who will really work with you.  Not sure if he has a second shooter, although I think it's good if you have one.

    Yeah we want printing rights. We're trying to make the most of our budget so we want to be able to print our own pictures and albums for now then we may get one through a photographer later.

    We went with A Different Angle.  We haven't had any photos taken yet, but we have had a meeting with her.  The thing I really like so far is, we get the rights to the photos and she will be there as long as you need her for shooting!!

    If you check out i du creative group at http://iduweddings.com/ you can book amazing Photographer, Photobooth and Videography. We booked 2 out of the 3 and saved roughly $450+ dollars. Its amazing! They are so professional and come with so much experience. You don't have to worry about not trusting these guys!.

    While I appreciate that you are giving advice on a variety of topics in other posts, your username, plus your email included in your siggy that directs people to your photography site - makes you a vendor.
