Hello everyone! I'm usually on the San Antonio board but I'd like to do a little dress shopping in Houston, hopefully sometime soon so I have a few questions for you Houston knotties. 

Where are the best places you've been to, when it comes to customer service as well as dress selection, for plus size brides? Can you please tell me about your experience? If you haven't come across anything but horrible experiences, please share those too. 

Also, if anyone is having their dress made, please share your experience so far, along with the name of the person/place that is making/has made your dress. 

Thanks for all the input ladies and congrats to you all on your engagements and weddings. =)

    It only took two stores for us to find a dress and both were by accident. I bought my dress at The Princess Bridal. It's located in Old Town Spring. The store was very unique. I loved it and it had dresses I have never seen before. They really are wonderful and went out of their way to help me with my dress, but definately make an appointment.

    The consultants at Panache were very helpful as well.  I have heard Ventura's has a lot of plus size dresses and I really planned on looking there, but found my dress on a whim.

    Venutra is a good place.  Not stuffy and rushed like David's although they do have plus sizes.  Just.. not enough personal attention for me.
