Veil or No Veil - that is the question

Help? I'm having an outdoor garden wedding with a full length gown. I really don't like finger-tip length veils. Should I go with cathedral length, birdcage or no veil at all? The catch is I have short hair and will be unable to do an 'up-do.' Headband? Fancy barrett? Thoughts?

    I would go birdcage or a fascinator.  There are lots of lovely ones out there, with bling or no bling or somethig inbetween.  I'm going with a simple flower then maybe some jeweled hairpins for a little sparkle.
