Jewler to design wedding band

My fiance purchased my engagement ring at Spence. The band is not straight, it has a bit of a curve in it.  The matching wedding band is a plain band that fits flush with the engagement ring, however I would like a wedding band with a few diamonds in it. Spence says they cannot custom design a wedding band to fit my engagement band...so my fiance and I have started to explore getting my wedding band custom made. We had an appointment at People's yesterday and they can take an existing wedding band (with diamonds) and customize it to fit with my engagement ring...it will cost approx $1500.  Might anyone be able to recommend a jewler that does good work and might be able to customize a wedding band for a reasonable price (under $2000)?

Thanks!

Try Deval Jewellers on Eglinton W. My fiance got my engagement ring customized there and we are going back to get our bands done. Not sure off the price though.

There's a great shop on Parliament, if you're downtown, called Fair Trade Jewellry, their custom work is beautiful. Very good if you're trying to go green. Make an appointment, if you're going in, the designer isn't always on site!

If you're willing to go as far as Barrie, I got a custom engagement ring and custom bands (one for above and one for below) from PD Murphy Jewellers. We live in Windsor, but my family is up there so that's how he found it. The guy he dealt with was even willing to drive halfway to us free of charge to get the engagement ring to him in time for our vacation when he planned on proposing :)

Fair Trade Jewellry is awesome - the owner and I use to work together back in the day.  He's also very fair in terms of pricing.

I took a look at Fair Trade Jeweller and found the prices start at $2000...not sure if he will be able to make something under $2000 (which would be more in line with our budget)...but I will check him out.

    Thanks again!

Are you sure you went to the right website?  It's www.ftjco.com. Talk to Ryan - he's the owner.
