Too Hot?

Hey girls!

FI is coming home for the first time in four months next weekend (he's in school in Memphis and I usually go out there since my class schedule has been more forgiving than his). I'm super excited! We have a week packed with wedding goodness including our tasting and our engagement shoot.

Problem: It's the hottest summer I remember. We're planning to do our photos outside in Winston-Salem where we met (Wake Forest and Reynolda Gardens). I have hair that does horrible things in humidity and I'd hate for us both to look gross and sweaty. We're planning on starting them around 5:30 or 6pm but even then it will still be hot out. I'm pretty sure I can get them put off if I want since the photographer is a good friend and has been very flexible with FIs in-and-out of town schedule but I'm so excited about them. Also, if we put them off FI won't be back until September or October and campus and the gardens won't be as pretty.

What do you guys think? Chance the weather or cool off in the fall?

My hair does horrible things in humidity too. I think I would rather have pics with nice hair and maybe not as many flowers. I would go with September.

Yeah...I agree with Krystal.  YOU and FI are the focus of the picture, not the flowers in the background!  I had my pictures taken at Duke Gardens, and I was surprised at how little you could really see the actual gardens in my photos!

My hair turns in to a giant frizzy mess in this weather.  I'd go with the cooler weather.  You could even wait for the leaves to start to change and get pretty fall pictures if you want.

I did my e-pics two weeks ago and it was so humid that my hair started out really curly and was completely flat within 1.5 hours (and we started at 7).  Haven't seen the results yet, but I am worried about the hair for sure!

If you wait until October you will hopefully have the fall colors to replace the flowers which would be pretty as well!

Yea I think fall is a gorgeous time.  I would also wait if you can.
