Vendor tips

How much should we tip each vendor? We are having a 10 pc band- do all 10 get tipped or jut band leader. Do we tip 2nd photographer or only the head photographer?

    I think you need to tip each person in the band and definitely the assistant.  It might be worth contacting both "leaders" to find out if tips get distributed though, because that might save you some time and envelopes! 

    As for how much, I would like to hear the input from the other ladies.  I would imagine it is 10-15% (or whatever is appropriate) of the vendor's total, split between the 2 or 10.  i.e. if they were both $1000 contracts, the tip would be say $100.  I would say that would get split up, although $10 tip each musician kind of sucks.  Does this make sense, or is my rambling wedding brain kicking in??

    I have the same situation. I plan on tipping the band members $25 each and the leader $50. I feel they are already charging so much for the band that I can't go overboard on their tips. FI would like to tip them $0 if it were up to him!
