Casual wedding.

My fiance and I have decided to have a wedding because that is what our families want. Unfortunately we are on a fixed income. Our wedding is going to be pretty casual. The colors I have finally decided on are a redish salmon color, silver, white and black. I am at a loss for everything. Hair, shoes, favors, flowers... pretty much everything! Any one have any suggestions?

    We're having a cake and punch reception.  This will save us a lot of money as we won't need to have a DJ, a bartender/alcohol, someone to cater the event, etc etc etc.

    Your dress is super cute - it looks kind of fun and flirty which gives me a sense of a simple, elegant type wedding. There are tons of great sites to help you along...keep watching the DIY boards and the boards that fit your theme and you'll be amazed at how many great ideas/inspiration will come up...decide whats most important to you and your fiance and then work your budget from there. Everyone is different and will save/splurge in different areas. My fiance and I are splurging on a photographer but as far as cake goes...we could care less and I hope to make cupcakes for everyone for less than $100. It really depends on what you like although a few sites you might consider that are budget friendly....

    www.vistaprint.com (for save the dates, invites, etc...many fellow knotties got theirs here and only paid for the shipping - the product itself was free!!!)

    www.save-on-crafts.com (great for DIY or inexpensive decor/ideas)

    www.etsy.com (awesome for anything/everything you need wedding related...type in anything you might be looking for...jewelry, bouquets, purses, cake toppers, invites....)

    I love the dress! I also love the idea of a chapagne and dessert reception with a few savory things thrown in so none of your guests go into sugar shock:) I wish I could have sold fi on this idea:(
