I just saw something in an old Bride magazine that I love and want to know if any of you have used it.  It looks like cherry tree blossoms in a vase or something and guests write on cards to hang instead of using a guest book.  It looks really great but I have no clue on how to find one!

    I too wanted to do this, but never had the time to make it.  I have seen some your can purchase, but they were prices.  I would check the Trash to Treasure board and see if you can find one to buy.  I found "Wedding Wish" cards at Hallmark and had each guest write us a note and leave them in a basket for us, and made a scrapbook out of them.  It was one of my favorite things, to see what people had to say.

    I'm making one for my wedding on Thursday. I found some big branchy dead branches around my apartment, collected them, cleaned them, and then bought a giant vase at Michael's. We'll fill the vase with those glass rocks to keep the branches upright. I then cut out cards & stamped a butterfly design on them & wrote our names & wedding date on one side. Then hole punched and strung ribbon in our wedding colors so guest can hang them on the branches after they right their message' on the card.

    I'll post pictures of it after the wedding. It actually didn't cost me very much at all since I was able to just collect the branches for free.
