    Technically you don't plan your shower. A shower is something that someone else offers to host if they decide to do so. If no one offers then you don't have one. At least this is proper etiquette. Now in the event you do have a shower about a month before the wedding is good.

    All the ones I have been to have been a few weeks before the wedding.
