Sleeping Bag Recs plz

Hey ladies,

Can I please get some brand recs for high quality sleeping bags. H and I are going to volunteer in Namibia next summer and I know how cold it gets to at night (I've been to southern Africa before and was really unprepared for how cold it was) so I want to be nice and cozy.

Check LL Bean, they have a lot to pick from. I've had a Coleman sleeping bag for years & love it.

This is what my husband bought from Appalachian outfitters a few years ago, it was ranked very high in Backpacker magazine.
I would also suggest you find a good outdoor store and talk to one of the service people there.

Mine is a Kelty, and H's is a Mountain Hardware. Go to an outdoor store and talk to a rep. They will steer you in the right direction. Be prepared to spend some $$ for a decent one. H and I backpack, so we paid extra for super lightweight ones - which might be nice to have depending on how much lugging of "stuff" you'll be doing in Africa.
