Personalized Beach Towels

I'm getting married on the beach in October. I'm trying to come up with cute, affordable gifts for my bridesmaids. They'll all be traveling across the country, so nothing breakable or too bulky. What do you think of personalized beach towels? Help?

I think that's a cute idea and it's definitely something they would use. By personalized, do you mean their name on the towel or just colors and designs you know they would like?

Honestly outside of the wedding weekend I would not use a beach towel with my name on it.I rarely use beach towels anyway though, so I guess if your girls are major beach go-ers they may like one in a cute color or design.

My sister would like this because she's at the beach nearly every summer weekend. I wouldn't use a beach towel because I rarely go to the beach. So it really depends on your friends.

I personally don't know anyone who likes stuff with their name monogrammed on it.

Instead of an actual towel you might want to consider a beach mat like these

They are much easier to get sand off of then a towel and a lot lighter. Depending on where you buy them, you can have them personalized but I would just use their initial, not full name.

Im thinking of doing the same thing. I'm going to get them a cute beach bag, towel and a goodie bag full of sunscreen, lotions, make up, etc.
