Anyone else getting excited for their "Pre-versary"

So my FI and I have started refering to our one-year-to-the-wedding date as our "pre-versary" (well, me more than him, but he thinks it's cute).

Anyone else getting super excited!!? I know it's only March, but I can't wait! I think we're celebrating by going out to dinner at the restarant our venue owns (our reception site is a country club and they have a fancy public restaurant downstairs).

FI and I's 3 year anniversary will be in June, so we'll have more reason to celebrate!

Congrats!! You guys will have lots of fun in May and then again in June! Sounds like a good excuse for a celebratory vacation.

I wish! I have a rewards card for a local casino and hopefully I'll earn a free hotel stay one of these days. That'd also give us a chance to get our dog used to the idea of a doggy daycare since we'll have to put her at one for the wedding anyway :-)

SO cute!!! We're not celebrating that because the end of March is our 3 year- we're going out to dinner for that. Then June is my birthday and our engagement-versary. We haven't decided what we're doing, but we've had thoughts about going up north in NH and staying a night.

Technically no were broker than broke lol however we are supposed to go away in May as a late Christmas gift to ourselves for a weekend to Busch Gardens as of right now it's up in the air but still cold happen otherwise we aren't doing squat this wedding is draining is

We're going to celebrate our 5 year anniversary in June with a weekend away somewhere. It'll be our last time celebrating an anniversary on this date & 5 years is a big one!

We also have his birthday in June & mine in July & we're going away for a week in September as a pre-wedding-craziness vacation just the 2 of us.

Same here I didn't even know what a Pre-versary was.. We have never celebrated a anniversary and will only start when we get married :)

Our 6yr anniversary is in April so we'll do something for that but nothing for our pre-versary. As Danny&Mel said we are suuuuper broke right now. Can't afford to celebrate anything extra lol as it is I doubt we will be exchanging any gifts for Bdays or any gift giving occassion between now and then lol

Well, I'm not sure if this terminology has existed before.....so that's why you ladies haven't heard of it!! It was just something I thought of and we have started saying. I think it's cute! Maybe we can coin a new term.

I know we were chatting about Pre-versary and what all we are doing or not, but I wanted to let everyone know that last night FI and I were watching tv and talking about how it will be nice to finally be living together once I figre out a full time job (we live an hour 1/2 apart for now). I told him about the wedding board and this discussion and he said on our 1 year to go mark, we should sit down and write each other a letter, seal it and sign then give it to each other and hold on to it till our wedding day then at 11:00am when we are taking pictures of us not seeing one another the photographer captures our remarks. If you don't know what I am talking about we would be standing on different sides of a door wanting to see each other, but waiting till I walk down the alise. We are the type of couple we keep PDA to a low, actually I dont think we have ever kissed infront of our parents, guess the wedding will be the 1st! It was so nice to hear from him about doing something like that and not be coming up with an idea like that!
