  We met through mutual friends in 1996.  My first thought was, "that hair needs to go!"  (He has really super thick curly hair, and it was down to his waist.  It was so tangled and gross!)  He did cut off a year later, and I remember thinking, "Wow, so that's what he looks like with out that mane!   He's hot!"  I was dating someone else at the time, and my husband and I didn't actually start dating until 2007.  We were just friends first....for 9 years!

  We met at culinary school and at first I didnt even notice him. But when I did I thought he must be a jerk by the way he dressed. But he did have the whole bad guy vibe going for him so I thought he would be the perfect one night stand. Then a month or so later I got the chance to have my one night stand and it turned out he wasnt jerky and have been together since.

  That's alright, we met in a class we both had and my initial reaction was that he was strange and disgusting :) Haha, he was sort of in super hippy phase, and had all these vintage suits and really long hair that is curly so pretty much just looked like a tangled mess. Thankfully he cut that, and although he's definitely not fashionable, it's gotten better...I'm sure nobody doubts that he dresses himself :)
  
  Still, we got to know each other and I ended my completely catastrophic relationship of 4 years so we could get together...all together not a terrible ending.
