I am 6 months away from my wedding, and I keep putting off making the final decisions about my flowers, because I feel overwhelmed. We are doing the classic Red, Black, Ivory colors and I find myself lost.
Obviously, roses are the red flower that comes to mind first, but they do get expensive. Any tips on how to sprinkle in more than just roses (daisies, carnations, etc.)? Or, is it smarter to just use roses. Any help you can lend is greatly appreciated!
Re: Overwhelmed by flowers
I think if you go with fake flowers you could still do rose which I personally love the look of. But I'm also looking to use black in my bouqet and I recently saw a really cool picture where they used black ribbon inbetween flowers here and there.

</div><div>I wouldn't suggest using silk flowers. They are either inexpensive and look it, or just as expensive as real flowers. </div><div>
</div><div>You can absolutely use other flowers to get that red color. You hit the nail on the head with the carnations. They will add a fluffy element to the bouquets. You can mix them with roses, and even spray roses. There are also mini carnations that fill in really well. Gerbera daisies are another really good option. They can give a lot of coverage for not too much budget. </div><div>
</div><div>Give your florist a solid budget, so she can work within it. That's the best way to get the flowers that best fit your budget. </div><div>
</div><div>Good luck! Email me if you have other questions. I'd be happy to help. I'm a florist and a bride. :)</div><div>
