Church decoration ideas??

Hi! I'm having a French themed wedding at my church and I am clueless on how we should decorate the front of the church. The area where I and my groom will be standing. I don't wanna get all cheesy with a giant cutout Eiffel Tower... So I want something that's "French" or "Parisian" inspired but not over the top... any thoughts?

    Ok that wasn't helpful at all.

    What I need is just a way of decorating the front of the church whether it be a certain style of floral arrangements along with lighting, decor, etc that will tie in with the feel of Paris, especially Paris in winter. Believe me, I understand that a church is a place of worship, I grew up in the church I am getting married in. But I want to decorate for my wedding, which most every bride does. I just want it to reflect the same ideas the reception will have so it's not plain, every Sunday look and then BAM! welcome to Paris for the reception and every one wonders why.

    So anybody out there with actual helpful tips?
