We're moving and other positive developments

We are moving to Phoenix, Arizona some time early next year since DH was just offered a very good position. with the firm he interviewed with last week.  He's going there in 2 weeks to iron out all the details and sign a contract.  Too bad he can't ask for mandated IVF coverage.

I've never lived outside the state of Illinois and am both very excited and anxious at the same time.  There will be a definite learning curve and big adjustment, but I know it will work out.  It's also a good time in my life to make a change since I'm about to receive my master's in nursing and don't yet have a job secured.  My FIL has been a physician for 20+ years in Phoenix, so I will definitely take advantage of his connections to help me find a nurse practitioner position in a primary care or internal medicine practice.

We also talked about when to do IVF, giving ourselves a few months to be feel settled and secure and then starting the process.

Everything is happening so fast that my mind is spinning.

Congratulations! I LOVE the Phoenix area -- it's one of my favorite places in this country. Several years ago, I had actually bought a plane ticket to go out there and seriously look for housing and plan a move...but then life changed and I decided to stay in the northeast.

Sounds like a time of great change and opportunity for you. What a great way to end one year and start the next!

    Mazal tov, what great news!
What kind of work does your husband do (I know he is an atty).  New places to live are always exciting. I really love living in CT and cannot imagine moving back to NY for any reason but just in case, am getting swon in to practice in NY just in case, next month!

Good luck with the move and your job hunt and IVF!
