  My MOH considered it, it was nice but the only drawback was that if you have more than maybe 70 people, they are split between upstairs and downstairs.

  I just visited the barn and it seemed beautiful, however I've been reading some pretty questionable reviews on it. The owner seemed nice enough today, but I'm worried that if we went to this place we may run into trouble because the groom's family is a partying group (reason why I love them next to my stiff bunch ) A lot of the reviews I have read have mentioned the owner screaming at children and calling people drunks, also cutting people off before they were actually intoxicated. Does anyone have any opinions or personal experience with this? Thank you for your help!

  Hello,

  We had an amazing wedding.  She did not yell at any children and didn't call anyone drunks.  We had a party group that drank a bit and everything went perfect.  She is an amazing wedding cordinater for the barn at birchwood.  She was a big help to me and my husband.  I would do it all over again there.  I wish you luck, let me know how it goes.
