Venue paid off!

Finally got the our venue paid off! There has been so much stress over it, I am so glad I can finally check it off!

    Congrats ! How many of yourguests did you pay it off for ? WE invited 132 and paid off for 110.

    Thanks! We invited 345 guest and paid for 300 of them. . . I  guess thats good lol. Ugh I am just excited!

    Gosh, I was thinking about this the other day.  I think our venue requires the balance paid off 30 days before, but that is going to be before our final final count since they don't need that until 14 working days.  I wanted to go pay ours off soon, but maybe I'll wait until we start getting responses.

    I guess I should have waited till I mailed the invitations and started getting responses. . . Our venue though expect us to pay for half the guest even if there wasn't going to be that many. They have a policy of having a certain number of guest on a certain day. For example since our wedding is on a Saturday, we would have to pay for at least 100 guest even if there weren't going to be that many, just because of there policy. Which  is so dumb.

    Oh we saw a few of those type of venues.  Ours isn't like that, but it would be nice to pay off a big chunk of our costs.  We are inviting 140ish and reasonably expecting maybe 120, so I suppose we could pay for 100.  Or we could just pay x thousand dollars right now and make up the rest at 30 days out.  We have finalized our menu choices (and I wish we were able to negotiate more, but I doubt that will be an option), but haven't finalized our bar selection.  Either way, that is exciting for you guys!

    At least your making progress though! Any progress is great progress! I was worried most about getting it out of the way, once it does, its like you can breath again!
