County Park Wedding Venues

We were considering holding our ceremony and reception at either Chestnut Ridge or Emery Park. I am having trouble finding information about renting out either the Casino at the Ridge or the Ski Lodge at Emery.

Has anyone been to or had a reception at either of these locations? If so, how did it turn out and who did you contact for more information?

    I looked into the Ridge Casino myself, but didn't book it.  


    That has phone numbers, addresses, etc.  It's a beautiful place, but we had to be completely done, cleaned up and out of there by 9 or 10 at night when they close the park.  That was our main reason not to go there.  But they do let you have the fireplace on or off, whatever you pick, is a beautiful place, with a beautiful view!!

    we looked into them a little, the biggest issue we had that made us choose otherwise was the time that you have to be out of the facilities and trying to find rentals. If you are planning enough in advance to get the rentals without issue and dont mind the time requirement they are absolutely beatiful and would be perfect for a reception.

    In case anyone sees this, Erie County is no longer renting the Casino at Chestnut Ridge for private parties We confirmed this with the Erie County Parks Department last week :-(
