I posted this in the original thread, but I don't want it to get lost in the shuffle and I am honestly interested in your response.

Actually I never asked to replace anyone at all and all the PP about that are not true at all, and talk about jumping to conlcusions and being judgemental.  I'm not going to bring KA into this but I'm sure she would vouch for me. But I'm off to my wedding!  Enjoy getting worked up over something as silly as an orange label and someone that watches for TK 'illegal' posts whether I'm "opinionated" or not.  Who isn't on here... that really is very petty.  Later ladies.

If the job is as menial as you make it sound then why not just step down and let someone who actually cares about the community and its members take it?

 Clearly other members of the board see the mod as someone who, on top of what you mentioned above, sets the tone of the board and withholds judgment.  Your name was not mentioned in Rach's original thread because no one thought you could do that.

    I just thought it could have stayed in the other thread.

    Personally, I think there is some overreaction here.  It's not like Daffodil Jill is the new mod.  And Rach was leaving already so it's not like she got the boot.  She had good reasons to go.  She is a great mod but, to be honest, as long as I don't get banned, I don't care who the mod is.

    if I get banned?  Oh, here go hell come.

The more I thought about why I was approached, the more I assumed it was because someone thought I wasn't doing a good job, so I rethought it, and agreed to step down.     I think you are reading too much into it.  Really, KA wouldn't boot you.  EVAR.  Maybe she thought that you had put lots of time in and that this was getting to be annoying to you.  Think Dani or Squirrly over on E. 

    Everyone knows you were/are doing a good job.  I bet KA thinks she was doing you a favor.

    Come down to pool with the commoners.  We can all hang out together.  The water's fine.  You can heckle from your innertube.

    Oh, I know she wouldn't have booted me! But, I do think someone else offered, hence the reason she asked me. 

    Big deal? No. Truth be told I didn't have the time. It just seems shady to me, is all. And I prefer the sun to the shade. 

    But, I'm looking forward to my intertube heckling. Oh hells yes.

    @Rach - I think you've been a great Mod as well.  But do you think maybe you aren't on here enough anymore to be the Mod you want to be?  You had said something like that in your bye post, and I guess just looking at other boards, at least the ones I go on, the Mod seems to be on more and starts more interactive threads etc...

    Shes leaving in the morning for her wedding. I wouldn't expect anyone to be on here trying to fight a losing battle the night before they leave.
