Hair in Vegas

Any suggestions for a salon where I can get an updo that won't cost a forturne?

We're staying at Planet Hollywood and don't have a car, so close to the strip would be nice.  Or am I dreaming?

Are there ways to get discounts at the salon at PH? 

Any advice appreciated! Or just tell me what you're doing with your hair!

    I am staying at Bellagio and found the cost to have one of the hair dressers (Francesca Lombardo in my case) come to my hotel room costs the same (or less) then actually going to the hotel salon. And I can eat/drink/hang out in the comfort of my room. I couldn't find any hotel salons near Bellagio that had a lot lower prices so that is what I ended up going with.

    I have hair extensions she is working with so she quoted me a bit higher, she also gives a bit of discount if you want makeup + hair I believe...

    From what I have looked at the general price range for hair and makeup seems to be between $130 to $150 and that doesn't include the gratuity.

    I'm not sure where you are getting married, but I'm getting married at CP and the package we are doing has hair and make up included.  Thank goodness...one less thing to worry about.  Depending on where you're getting married I would check their packages.  Cool

    Another Wild Hair is a salon in Vegas. I'm not sure of their prices, but they will travel to the strip.

    I went there this summer a lot for haircuts/dye and they were great.

    She is amazing - I had some reference pics & she worked her magic. She comes to your hotel room at no additional charge. My hair was perfect & didn't budge all night. I really can't say enough wonderful things about her.

    I am using Harmony Medina and she will come to your hotel room for the trial and on your wedding day.  Her prices are very reasonable...updo and makeup for the bride is $130 with a free trial.  If you have a group of 4 or more girls getting both hair and makeup done she will give a group discount of 15% which comes out to be $85 for both services for each girl.  She does require a &50 deposit if you decide to book her to reserve the day, but that $50 will come off of your total at the end.  I'm getting my trial done with her when we are out in Vegas in a couple of weeks and I can let you know how it all went with her.
