What are you doing for centerpieces?

I have been looking through centerpiece pics and am no closer to deciding what to put on the tables! Brandywine offers several options(for free!!) and I'm trying to decide what to do. All of them involve some type of candle holder. Hurricane lamps, 3 tiered holders, round bowls, etc..  I want to use flowers, too, but my crafty side seems to have disappeared since my wedding planning has started. What is everyone doing for centerpieces?  Anyone getting creative and doing something unique?

I went the traditional route.  This is what I did:

My tables are 8ft. rectangles, so I'm using 3 different things per table - one in the middle and one on each end.

Some are fake flowers submerged in water with some stones/gems at the bottom and a candle floating on top and others are a bunch of fake rose petals that will be submerged in water and swirled around so they kind of float with a candle floating on top. I also have mirrors for under the center ones and some votives for around it.

I'll have pics in a few weeks :-)

These were ours.  They were cheap and easy!  I bought everything at Crafts 2000.  I really had my heart set on candle centerpieces for our venue because of the low lighting in there. I really think the candles looked awesome in the low light.

We grew grass in little square containers, then put them in black boxes with a green ribbon around them.  There were two per table, and then we put glass votives around them.   I was going to put river rocks around too, but it just seemed like too much, so we just had the grass & candles.   This picture isn't great, but you kind of get the idea...

If the three tiered holders are what I'm thinking of, I really like those because you can do SO many different things with them.  Put your choice of 'stuff' down in the bottom --- flowers, rocks, sparkly stuff, leaves, etc. -- and then a candle on top.  And you can do something different in each one too!   Round bowls can be really nice too!  Put some rocks/gems/something in the bottom, fill with water and then float flowers or candles!    Here's what we did for my SIL's shower that I thought was really pretty.  The picture isn't great, but it really looked gorgeous in person. :)

We are using Candlelight Occasions for half of the tables:

Also, it doesn't show in the picture, but two tealight candles with holders and a thick mirrored base are included.

For the other half of the tables, we are doing something simple like this:

With a different style table number.

Wow ladies! They are all beautiful centerpieces! I think I'm gonna go with candles and flowers. Maybe alternate them on the tables.  Hmm... let the brainstorming begin! lol

We're getting married at Brandywine too!  Since the room is so white, we are doing Dark Purple table clothes with Light purple table runners that will form an X. Then we are doing white flowers:

    And Candelabras:

since the theme of our wedding in red cherry blossom we wrapped a silk cherry blossom around the inside of a ivy bowl and poured gel wax in. so our centerpieces are just simple candles. we are also going to let family take one home
