Please help

Any ideas for a vacation type package to florida from wisconsin.  We don't want to spend more the $1500 for the hotel, flight and car... Where should we stay?  I've looked in the upper keys and I like the location.  But, I'm open to any suggestions anywhere that is beautiful and romantic.  We would be on our honeymoon from Oct. 27- Oct. 31st this year!  Please help, I have no idea what hotels are nice but don't break the bank.....

    For places besides the Keys that we like (never been to the Keys actually), you might chek out Clearwater Beach (gulf side near Tampa) or Marco Island (also in the gulf). On Marco, there are many condos/homes for rent right on or near the beach that will usually always end up working out cheaper than booking at a resort or hotel. Plus then you can cook some meals yourself and save money that way. For condo rentals, check vrbo.com or airbnb.com.

    For packages, I would price out all the major travel sites: expedia, Travelocity, Orbitz, etc. and see what can give you the best deals. Many times you can save by flying at less common times (in the afternoon or evening as opposed to morning) or not doing a non-stop flight if that doesn't bother you. I've also found very good airfare through Southwest on more than one occasion.
