Cool God Moment

So FI and I had a really cool God moment tonight, that I wanted to share...

Little background first: we met on a Christian dating site, just over a year ago (Jan 2009) and totally bonded over Christian music, and live music. Our first weekend together was a roadtrip to 2 different concerts. The first one was Brandon Heath/Third Day. During Brandon Heath's "Love Never Fails" it hit me, at how much I loved this boy (we hadn't said those words yet), and how much he needed to be a part of my life. All weekend I wanted to tell him, but feared that it was too soon. Two weeks later, he told me that he loved me.

Fast forward to tonight, we headed out to see Sanctus Real, and Addison Road. There are a few SR songs that really hit home to FI, and we talked about them on the way home. I mentioned that nearly a year ago we were coming home from our first trip, and I told him the Brandon Heath story. We'd been back and forth about what song we wanted to have our first dance to. We continued to talk about the song, and how much we've heard it lately. "Its been on the radio a lot"... cue the radio, and Brandon Heath. Chills, and tears! It had been solidfied for us that that song is meant for us. During the song, it started to rain. God was sharing His happy tears with us.

I know thats a little rambly, but I am so filled with thoughts, and still trying to catch my breath and hold on to that moment from tonight. Thanks for letting me share it with you all. :-)

I should also mention, that all of this happened, on exactly 6 months before our wedding. We're big on dates and memories like that. I can tell it is going to stick with us for a long time.
