Odd colors?

Hey all...

My colors are LIME green and blue.  I am not sure what kind of flowers I can use for my bouquet and bridesmaids/maid of honor bouquets?  I am not sure if you have any ideas of this either but looking for suggestions on flower types or whatever you have for me.  I am not a flower person at all so I know nothing.  THANKS!

There are green roses that are kind of cool. Some are like pale lime green. Also, bells of Ireland are kind of cool looking. Here's a link to a page with green flowers: click here. Blue, you have tons of options, just depends on the shade. I'd take a look at some floral wholesalers online so you get an idea of what's out there and talk to a florist in your area to see what will be available and how much they will cost.

I am having lime green in my flowers too. I think that my florist recommended using hydrangeas and roses. I'm not sure about blue flowers though. You may also want to consider adding some white flowers.

Or you can just use miniminal ribbon and showcase the stems/greenery in your bouquet.

I don't think the combo is weird at all.  I think it's gorgeous.  Take a look at this Italian wedding below with the bride in her sky blue dress and bouquets in the colors you described.  Gorgeous!

The only problem you run into is that the selection for blue flowers aren't as many as, say...red or yellow, or even purple.  But there are plenty to still chose from.

And if you aren't confident in the word LIME green, you can say APPLE green, which tends to sound better to those who aren't involved in your planning.

I don't think that's an odd color combo. I've actually been to a wedding with those colors and it was lovely. For gree flowers you could use hydrangea, orchids, kermits (button mums), fugi mums, bells of Ireland, Jade roses, interesting greens, etc. For blue flowers, you can use delphinium, thistle, chickory, forget-me-nots, bachelor buttons, hydrangea, muscari, hyacinths, etc. It really just depends on when and where you're getting married as far as what will be available. If you plan on using a florist, they should be able to point you in the right direction.
