Gone over budget? I was just updating my budget calculator, we are hoping to have everything purchased and payments made by July 5th. We will be on top of budget by $25! I have everything saved with exact prices of how much items will cost me and I know where Im going so it has been quite easy for me to keep track of where we are at.

I have no idea if we are on budget, under budget, or over budget. Ha! FI is taking care of that part.

Our budget was always kind of a general number, but we went over that as soon as my dad wanted open bar.

We went over, but we set the budget on the lower sidde and we won't be going into debt or anything for going over budget. We might forgo some nights out in the next few months but that's about it.

I know we are far over the original budget that my parents told us in the beginning, but they keep saying "we'll pay for that" and "lets add this", so it's their money and if they're okay with it, then that's their decision for going over. I feel sick though about how much this wedding is costing, especially now since my job is in jeopardy.

We did a round number also and we've saved on a lot of things (I'm the queen on DIY and sales hehe)... the only thing we've gone over on so far is FIs ring. FI pretty much had his heart set on what he wanted for a ring (it's just a plain yellow gold band)... but damn gold prices are high right now! And i have the sinking sensation that the bar price is going to be OVER budget.... but hey we are only going to do this once right? lol and it's not like we'll be going into debt for any of it, we set a prrrrretty low budget.
