Final Count, dress update, & strange...

We have a final count!!  We invited 245, and have 188 attending the reception. So thats a 76%. About average. Part of me really wanted 200 though. Oh well. 

I posted a few weeks ago that my dress didnt fit. :( 
However, since then, Ive lost 5 lbs, and the dress zips!!! We also decided that Im not wearing a bra which gives me some extra room. Theres enough boning in the top to keep the girls in place. Ill PIP when I go back next week to the finalize the bustle. 

Lastly- Whats the strangest thing you are trying to control/prepare for? 
Lemme explain. I have an issue with major canker sores. If i bite my lip at all ever, it will turn into a sore. And none of the medications work. They numb it, but dont stop the sore from turning my bottom lip into a large balloon. They are painful and last for at least a week. And get worse when stressed. 
i have one right now.  So now, Im taking care to eat even slower and more carefully than normal so I dont mistakenly get one before the wedding. 
Im feeling a little crazy because of this, so Im wondering if anyone else has something like this?

    yay about the dress!!!  & count!!  i'm hoping to finalize all of ours by next week!

    As for the sores go...just take extra precautions!

    So happy your dress zips!

    My lips are really sensitive to sun and I get fever blisters on them if I get too much sun on them, so I am all about wearing chapstick with spf and hats anytime I'm in the sun between now and the wedding. I would die if my lips were blistered on my wedding day or honeymoon.

    I am super clumsy. I am always running into things or tripping over things. I really don't want any big bruises on me for the wedding. So I am been REALLY careful lately. I have been moving extra slow and paying a lot of attention to my body movements. It sounds kind of pathetic but at least it's working! I have had less bruises lately :P

    I'm terrified I'm going to break out.  I normally have really nice skin (thankful for that!) but when I'm stressed I get these huge, painful pimples, usually around my chin or forehead.

    Also, weirdly enough I'm now worried about having mosquito bites on my arms or face.  The area behind my house is a watershed so we have an incredible amount of mosquitos and other bugs and I'm already covered in bites.

    I sunburn very easily but am trying to get a tan for my wedding. I am trying to remember to put tons of sunscreen on and only sit out for small amounts of time but I just want to sit in my pool all day!

    That's great your dress fits!

    I'm terrified I'm going to break out.  I think I've bought about 4 different face cleansers/products recently to prevent this.

    Also, beyond everyone's control, the weather.  I'm not so worried about rain, everything is inside so I don't really care about.  I'm terrified it's going to be like 100* and I won't want to do pics outside.

    k8888 I have the same issue. My skin is normally really nice, but when I'm stressed out I get like ONE MASSIVE PIMPLE, usually on my chin or forehead, and it DOESN'T GO AWAY for like a month. Last July, when we first started planning wedding stuff, I got one that lasted from July through September. I didn't want to go in public it was so bad.

    ugh when I am stressed, I get zits E V E R Y W H E R E. You would think I was a pimply and pubescent 16 year old by looking at my skin. I am currently in panic mode, my zits are in full force. Luckily my makeup artist is a goddess with her airbrushing wand, but I would prefer to not have bumpies all over my face. yikes.

    bridetobe I sometimes get massive ones that last for months and are un-poppable. (gross, I know). Sometimes they are tiny and nearly un-seeable underneath concealer and foundation, but sometimes they are just SO. BIG. I am terrified of getting one of the un-coverable big ones. Sigh.

    Butterfly, have you tried putting antibiotic ointment on them at all?  That works great for me!  It either brings them to a head or they go away. 

    I've heard some good things about neutrogena stuff for getting rid of pimples and also clinique stuff but I've never personally tried either of them.

    I have heard that crushed up asprin mixed with a drop of water is good to put on pimples as it takes the redness out and relieves some of the swelling.

    I have also heard of toothpaste -- the white paste kind not the blue gel kind.

    I pick on my fingers, not really my nails, but skin around my fingers. And my knuckles on my thumbs. I am so paraniod about having ugly hands for wedding pictures! Or broken nails! I am trying to keep them manicured in hopes I won't pick on them and that my nails stay non-broken...I guess I can always get fake nails if need be!

    I'm worried about breaking out and being pink. I'm trying to slowly get tan but I can easily become pink so I'll have to avoid the Sun the week before the wedding.
