  I think either works. Vistaprint always has good deals on postcards (like, free!). I'd probably prefer to be cheap and do postcards, but I think FI wants to do magnets.

  We got ours (postcards) from WeddingPaperDivas.  Definitely more expensive than the free Vistaprint ones, but totally cute and they really went with our theme.

  We did magnets through magnetstreet. We got so many compliments and people actually still use them!

  I made my own STD's. I took one of our engagement pics, had multiple copies made on Costco's website, then printed my own vellum sheet overlays and put magnetized strips on the back. Picture below.

  Congrats!  My wedding is at the Colony Club, too!
  
  I used magnetstreet.com for magnet STDs...they are beautiful and reasonable.
