Day of plans? suggestions?

-- 1 MONTH UNTIL MY BIG DAY !!!!! and I am planning the day of plans my ceremony is going to start at 3pm and I am starting to plan the day of, I need some suggestions how early to start getting ready?

Depends how many ppl will be in your room/home/suite getting ready with you. I have to wake up at like 8 or 9, but I won't actually start getting ready until like 1. I'm spending most of my time chatting and enjoying everyones company.

I agree with STB...your timeline depends on how many people have to get ready, if you are doing pictures beforehand, etc. Our ceremony is at noon and I only have 2 attendants so we are getting started at 8am (@Starbucks lol) to be ready by 1100am to be at the venue by 11:30am. We are taking some pictures together before but most of our pictures will be taken later, we have a pretty short timeline as we have to leave our reception at 3pm to be at the airport for our flight that evening. It's crazy...but I don't fly the day of any cruise...esp not our honeymoon. lol

I am starting at 8:30 to get myself, 5 bridesmaids, 4 flower girls, and my mother ready. Um estrogen much?! I plan on getting in my dress at 1:00, doing the first look at 1:30/1:45 and get allllllll of our pictures done before our 5:30 ceremony! We plan on getting to the actual venue around 4:00 to just relax and calm down before the ceremony begins as well. I have to say that I created a timeline for everyone (mainly myself) just for a peace of mind sort of thing. If it helps any, I started working backwards with my timeline which made it a lot easier than working forward: ex: 5:30 ceremony, need to be a venue by 4:00 to relax and get pictures, need to leave last picture location at 3:45 for travel time, etc. Hope this helps! TEN DAYS! Almost single digits!

I agree with everyone else that it just depends on how many people you have getting ready and if you plan to go to a salon or have someone come in to do your hair / make-up or if you are planning to do it yourself.

I have 6 bridesmaids, MOB, MOG, and Sister of Groom all getting either hair and make-up done or just hair. My hair person is coming to our hotel room at 9am and the make-up person will arrive at 1130am.

We are taking all of our pictures before the wedding, so everyone has to be ready to go around 230pm. We will then take family pictures and formal bridal pictures / first look at the hotel. After that we will go around the city for a few hours in a limo bus with the bridal party and get dropped off at the venue at 530pm. Ceremony starts at 630pm.

My ideas right now....

Breakfast at the hotel with my sisters since they will be sleeping in the hotel with me.... I have my hair appointment at 10. We will probably start doing pictures around 1pm or so and have our first look. Our ceremony starts at 3pm.

I'm realizing that eating lunch at some point would be a good idea...

I was thinking the same thing. How long do you typically need for pictures? We have 6 attendants and our ceremony is at 3, I'm thinking if we start pictures at 1?

Our ceremony is also at three. The women are gathering to get ready at 10:15am, the men at noon. Pictures from 12:45 to 2:15 then we'll clear out so the guests can start filing in. I hope that helps. Depending on the size of your bridal party you may need more or less time.
