Big Hiccup!

AHHHH! Okay so I just have to vent! I am using Paradise Maui Weddings. I just sopke with my wedding coordinator, and she informed me that my wedding was going to be at a different location that we previously discussed. And that I cannot have it at the location I had my heart set on because I have too many people! However, I was previoulsy told that number of ppl was fine for my location! The new location is not the "vision" we had in mind. It has a big hotel and a golfcourse(polo beach). Which was not the ambience I wanted. The previous location was more secluded and all beach (makena cove). And she also has no record of me ordering flowers or the photographer because I had ordered them with another person in the company. Needless to say these people are not good communicators. Has anyone used Paradise Maui Wedding? Did you have any hiccups along the way?

No, unfortuantely I haven't. My wedding coordinator hasn't been bad, but she hasn't been the best either.

Do you have e-mail communications of her saying that you can have it at your original location with that number of guests, then email that to her and show her that she said it would be ok.

Also, do you know the people in the company that you booked your flowers and photographer through? Just tell her that you talked to those people and hopefully she can follow-up with them.

Sorry about your hiccups! :( I hope you're able to get it all resolved...

This is exactly why I've done it all myself and been able to deal with ppl directly.  I do recommend always getting everything in writing.
