   Here are some examples of Af-Am brides done by Above Heaven's Gate Makeup and Hair guys, and they are exclusive to AHG :-/. They are really accommodating and will work with you within your budget and all packages are customizable so that's good. Sara is awesome and responds really quickly to emails.  I was busy and hadn't checked MY emails b/c she messaged me last week on the 6th.  So far I would recommend them as they have been awesome to work with thus far and to hold my day it was only a $100 deposit! I will keep you posted as my big day approaches, and I will be giving a vendor review when we get back from HI. Hope this helps :-D

  I have the same question. Wow! Their makeup is beautitful! I am considering having my sister do my makeup, but I still need help with finding someone to do my hair

  Hi ladies,
  just a quick check-in: I have decided to let AHG do my hair and makeup.  Since hair and make up is a package deal and I'm paying for both I might as well get my money's worth.  I've also had a change of heart as far as what I want my hair to be on my big day. After picking up my wedding dress and trying on veils again, I decided that and updo was in order rather than something down.  I hate blushers so my veil is just going to hang from the back of my head and that does not work with a free flowing curly do. I'm deciding on my do since next week I'm going in for the big chop, I'm taking like 4 inches off cuz they just need to go so my fro can grow :-) I'm tired, forgive my rhyming lol. Ok ladies, back to work for me!
