    Where did you meet you FI/spouse? We were teachers at the same school!

    How long have you two been together?     5.5 years

    Detail you’re most excited about in your wedding?     Hmm....the cake?  Seriously, I can't wait to do the cake tasting.  But I am really excited about standing in front of my friends and family and acknowledging our love.  I never would have thought it was something I would do. 

    Favorite TV show(s)?     Criminal Minds, The Mentalist and How I Met Your Mother

    Favorite musical artist(s)?      I don't really have a favorite.  I like all music except rap.  I've never been able to get into it.

    We will be together a year on June 19th

    seeing my bride for the frist time on our wedding day, and having my son marry us.

    almost anything on TLC and wedding shows, of course :)

    I like alternative rock and my partner is all country

    She was the cook in the beginning of our reletionship, now i am.  Does ordered pizza count as favorite recipe???

    How long have you two been together?     7.5 years

    Detail you’re most excited about in your wedding?     All of them? We put a lot of personal touches into the ceremony and reception. I can't wait to see out flowers/centerpieces, the cake, our tables with our favors, menus etc on them. But mostly I'm excited to see my FI walk down the aisle and that first look of her in her dress.

    Favorite TV show(s)?     All the Showtime comedies (United States of Tara, Weeds, Nurse Jackie, The Big C), Law & Order SVU, Being Erica and Days of Our Lives is my guilty pleasure.

    Favorite musical artist(s)?      311, Incubus, No Doubt, Vampire Weekend, David Guetta, Lady Gaga etc.

    Are you or your FI the cook in the house (or both)? Favorite recipe? I'm the cook. I like making stir fry with chicken and veggies or making my sweetie some sauce and a  nice pasta dinner (I know the way to an Italian girl's heart!)

    Where did you meet you FI/spouse?  I met him through his boyfriend about 12 years ago.  No, it wasn't like that.  We were friends for 11 years.

    How long have you two been together?       A little over a year.

    Detail you’re most excited about in your wedding?      Pretty much all of it, but the band is probably the biggest one.
     
    Favorite TV show(s)?      How gay is it if I say "Glee"?

    Favorite musical artist(s)?      If I had to pick one, I'd go with Brandi Carlile

    How many times do I have to have seen Melissa Etheridge, The Indigo Girls and Brandi Carlile live before I turn into an actual lesbian?  I think I'm teetering on the brink.

    Where did you meet you FI/spouse?  My FI and I are in the military, National Guard, and we are in the same unit.  We have been in the same unit since 2006 but never really paid much attention to each other until about 2009.  She was an AWOLlee for a while!

    How long have you two been together?      Unofficially since May 2009 but made it official in July 2009.

    Detail you’re most excited about in your wedding?      That we are even having one in NC!!!  I'm doing most of the plaaning and she just wants to get married.  She was pretty interested in the cake tasting but that is about it.  I'm on my own for teh rest!

    Favorite TV show(s)?      Grey's Anatomy, Desparate Housewives, and Private Practice

    Favorite musical artist(s)?       She is in love with Kandi from Xscape and I will listen to anything with a good beat.

    Are you or your FI the cook in the house (or both)? Favorite recipe?       Cook??  Yeah right.  I do't even know how we get by.  We are always at someone house for dinner or we microwave it up!

    Aw shucks!  I'm afraid I can't move to NJ, though.  I've been spoiled by 39 years of California weather.  Also, I'd have to give up my Giants tickets.

    Detail you’re most excited about in your wedding?     The venue is beautiful and having all our friends and family there to celebrate with us!

    Favorite TV show(s)?     Say Yes to the Dress, Glee

    Favorite musical artist(s)?      Prince for me, she would say a variety

    Are you or your FI the cook in the house (or both)? Favorite recipe?      Beth is the best cook ever!  She can take anything and make it taste good.  I especially love anything with sweet potatoes and the salads she puts together- YUM!

    Where did you meet you FI/spouse? We worked together... she was my boss! OPPS! Needless to say, we didn't start dating until I left the job. 

    How long have you two been together?     Almost 6 years

    Detail you’re most excited about in your wedding?     The whole venue! I'm so excited that we found something all outdoors & by water... not the ocean the way I really wanted, but I got some water!! 

    Favorite TV show(s)?     Glee, Grey's Anatomy, Modern Family, Say Yes to the Dress, SYTYCD

    Favorite musical artist(s)?      We have too many to list...

    I am new to this site. I have, too, noticed the lack of activity on this board. I now plan on contributing instead of forever lurking :)
    Where did you meet you FI/spouse?     Match.com lol :)

    How long have you two been together?     2 months...A true second date U-haul lesbian relationship. We have not moved in together yet but have talked about spending the rest of our lives together and tying the knot on Spetember 22, 2012. We are meant to be <-- We are so cliche. haha. 

    Detail you’re most excited about in your wedding?     Getting married to my love, barefoot on the beach <3 IN NORTH CAROLINA... never thought that would happen. 

    Favorite TV show(s)?     So many... CSI, Law and Order, Idol, Parenthood, TLC shows, and many, many more. 

    Favorite musical artist(s)?      Anything that sounds good :) I listen to mostly country. 

    Are you or your FI the cook in the house (or both)? Favorite recipe?      Hmm. Not sure yet. We have both cooked for eachother. I love to bake :) I think our favorite so far has been the CHicken Ring I make... croissants stuffed with broccoli, cheese, and chicken!

    Where did you meet you FI/spouse? She showed up on my door step. Okay actually she was coming to a salon that I was hosting in my home on female bisexuality for an on-line queer women's orgaization to which we both belonged. 

    How long have you two been together?     6 years and counting!

    Detail you’re most excited about in your wedding? The rings and the honeymoon.

    Favorite TV show(s)?     TLC and We Wedding shows (but sorry no Bridezilla), makeover shows like How Do I Look and What Not to Wear, DIY home makeover shows and just about anything on PBS! Oh and how can I forget the Biggest Loser? Jillian rocks!

    Favorite musical artist(s)? Prince, DMB, Suzanne Vega, Sarah MacLachlan

    Where did you meet you FI/spouse?  At a Blockbuster. She was the asst. manager and I was a customer new to Nashville filling out my paperwork for my card. After several weeks of "stalking" the store and never seeing her again I happened to run into the manager who asked if I need help - I responded yes and described her, this happened to be her roomate and she told me her next 2 days schedule.  I showed up with dinner (lobster and steak plus a veggie stir fry just in case) and asked her out.  No clue if she was gay or not...but I couldn't stop thinking of this woman!

    How long have you two been together?     15 years on July 28

    Detail you’re most excited about in your wedding?     Seeing her walk down the aisle with her father towards me. I might just loose it right then.

    Favorite TV show(s)?     Modern Family, Big Bang Theory, How I Met Your Mother, Swamp People (my FI is from LA and that area so I love to make fun), True Blood, Weeds, Nurse Jackie...

    Favorite musical artist(s)?      UhHuhHer, LadyGaga, BeastieBoys, JoanJett, and so on

    Are you or your FI the cook in the house (or both)? Favorite recipe?      We both cook and love to cook together whenever possible. No fav recipe - we try too many new things, but know what not to try again!

    We met through mutual friends, and had grown up in the same area without ever meeting!

    How long have you two been together?
    This will be our 4th year together in July! Time flies.

    Detail you’re most excited about in your wedding?
    Being with our families and having them all meet eachother for a great time celebrating our relationship and commitment....and cake :)

    Cops, Real World, Weeds, Red Sox and Bruins games

    Wide variety! Just not country.

    She is a great cook and a terrible baker.  I'm a great baker and a terrible cook.  We love steak stir-fry or pulled pork dinners in the crockpot.

    We met at work and she tols someone she had a crush on me and they came to me and told me.. So happy they did!

    We met online, actually, when we were both 15. We were friends for a few years.

    We have been together for almost three years.

    My dress! I haven't even started shopping, but it's something I'm definitely looking forward to.
