Invitations: Maryland/DC area vs. India??? Please Help.

Help! Does Anyone know of a reputable place to get Indian Wedding invitations? Did you use in state vendor or get directly from India? I found some sites but have no idea which ones are good. It's always better to hear from someone who has experience with vendor. Our wedding is in 3 months, and we really want to send out invites out this month, especially for our overseas guest. Thanks!

I think if you want to send your invites out this month, your best bet is to look for someone in the US or use one of the Indian wedding card sites and see if they can work in your timeframe.

A knottie, KPwedKK used one of the card sites and has good things to say about them, I can't remember which one though. I am sure she can help out with any questions.

If you had more time, I would have suggested ordering samples from the different sites to see what they look like in person, the quality, color, etc. I did that with indianweddingcard.com. I didn't end up ordering from them (we DIY'd ours instead) but they were quick about the samples and they were rather nice.

    Hi there :-)

I used parekhcards.com and have recommended their site to a lot of friends and family who have had really good experiences as well... They are based out of India, but they work with you on making sure wording and pictures are where they should be, and send many drafts to you of what the final product will look like in color!  Also, they fedex the final product, and it took 3 days from Mumbai/Delhi to Arizona...

I used indianweddingcard.com for the favor boxes with the same results.  And both of these companies are not super expensive, and they use high quality paper and gold ink printing... very pretty.
