Wedding Night Hotels- Hartford Farmington

Hi All!  I'm a new knottie and this is my first post.  

I am looking for some suggestions on where to stay the night of our wedding.  We are not Honeymooning right away, so I want to stay somehwere romantic!

    We are going to stay at the Hilton Garden Inn in Windsor.

    There is a Homewood Suites in Farmington. I took H there once for his bday when we were dating. That would be nice since it has the little kitchen you could have champagne chilling (or wine, or whatever you prefer) plus some snack foods etc.

    the Farmington Inn is super cute, and it's definitely got a more romantic feel than most of the chain hotels, imho.  

    i know it's a bit far, but we stayed in the Litchfield Inn the night of our wedding.  we stayed in the Lace Room...it's their honeymoon room and it was SUPER romantic :)  good luck!

    FI grew up in Hartford...he says Farmington Marriott is nice.

    I just stayed at the Farmington Marriott during my Special Olympic Team's Winter Games.  It is a very nice hotel!

    Our wedding is at the Simsbury Inn.  It is very quaint, New England, and charming and their food is excellent.  Worth the drive.
