  Well, we didn't get to go. 

  My uncle was hit by a car on Sunday night and last night we said our goodbyes to him and stayed by his side until he passed. It's been an emotional roller coaster for my family. Luckily, we are busy the next two days with my son's 2nd birthday (character breakfast at Disney tomorrow and then a party on Saturday), so that will definitely help keep my mom's spirits up.

  My mom wants me to make another appointment for next week. Will let you know it goes.. and btw it was so sweet of you to remember

  OMG! I'm so sorry! That is terrible. My grandpa was killed in a car accident when I was a teen, so can empathize. You are in my thoughts! =(
  And awww, of course! We're all here to help and I feel closer to you gals here on this board, whereas the other boards often seem clique-y. So we can just make our own super awesome clique.

  What a weekend! I know of at least 4 other family/friends who passed away this weekend, including my great uncle. I also hope that you can enjoy the time with your son.
