Wine for the reception

Hello all. I hope everyone is enjoying the holiday season. Anyway, for those of you bringing in your own alcohol to your reception, how many different types of wine are you offering? Also, what types of wine are you offering (merlot, cab, etc.)?

    I was thinking of getting 2 types of each, so maybe a Riesling, Chardonnay, Merlot, and Shiraz.  Mostly because those are the types I like best and what I see other people in my circle drinking.  We are buying most of our alcohol from ABC and I was planning to ask for their recommendations too.
