Fort Piqua Plaza Banquet Center

Hi brides! I am getting married in September of next year and looking into Ft. Piqua as a possible ceremony/reception location. Just wondering if anyone has looked into it as well or has known anyone who has gotten married there for some reviews. Also, any wedding stuff you may have leftover that you may not need after your wedding, let me know! Thanks a bunch.

    I've never heard of it, but looking at the website I know where it is and it's in a beautiful area of Piqua. They do have a facebook page, but it seems fairly new. Other than I couldn't find much, but I did find one review on dexknows.com

    "I don't even know where to begin. Working with the people at the Fort Piqua Plaza was one of the worst experiences of my life! It was almost impossible to get a straight answer from them on the cost (that is, when I could get them to call me back after leaving countless messages), they talk down to you if you try to cut any costs at all (they took personal stabs at me and my family), and you never seem to talk to the same person, so therefore I was given three different versions of how my wedding day would play out and how much it would cost. One week before my big day (keep in mind I was having the wedding ceremony and recpetion there) they raised the price by $2500.00! They seemed to think that they could push me around and that I would just go ahead and pay the extra costs since it was so close to the date. I ended up canceling my contract with them, losing my security deposit, and planning my entire wedding and reception in one week at another location. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THEM!    "

    I couldn't believe the review on Fort Piqua Plaza. We just booked my daughter's wedding there for 2013, and it is a beautiful place! We were shown everything and all the costs were discussed in detail.  We haven't gotten to all the details since it is so early, but our experience so far has been positive.  A classmate of my daughter had her reception there and 2 other friends of hers are also booked there. So, don't base your decision on one person's experience or you may be missing out!
