Need advice on wedding date

Hi knotties!  I found a venue that I like, and so long as my fiance likes it, we want to set a date!  They don't have the date we really wanted (October 8th) or the dates the week before/after that, but they have September 24 and October 22.  I want September 24, but fiance wants October 22.  Basically, it's going to be an outside ceremony and reception, probably starting around 5 o'clock.  My fiance thinks it's going to be too hot in September, but I think late October would be too cold!  So, did any of you get married around one of those dates? Go to a wedding around one of those dates?  Have a really good memory on how it felt on those dates in the evening?

Thanks!

Honestly, it's Georgia so it's going to be up in the air that time of year no matter what. I don't know if it's going to make a huge difference, although your chances for cold/hot will be greater/lesser. Maybe see if your other venders are available those weekends? They might make the decision for you. :)

Go with the later date. If it's too cold, you can always rent heaters, but if it's too hot, you can't rent air conditioning units.

I just planned a wedding in late Oct. and the weather was perfect! Go with October.

Go for that window. The weather is absolutely perfect at that time of year!
