Wedding Tax Deductions

I noticed a lot of us are concerned about money while planning our weddings. I'm a finance junky LOL and I wanted to make sure you all knew that after your wedding you could donate your dress to "Brides for Breast Cancer" as a tax deduction.

    Your welcome!

I'm really considering the charity donations in honor of my guests instead of wedding favors. To be honest, almost every wedding I went to I never held on to the wedding favors. If someone is paying $4 or $5 dollars for 200 guests that equals $1000. I'd rather give that money to a good cause.

This is exactly what we're doing.  We printed the charity info on business cards (ordered free from VistaPrint) and each place setting will have a card on it, telling guests that we donated to a local charity in lieu of a favor.
