Blusher?

I'm torn on the usage of the blusher. Part of me thinks it is very romantic to have my groom lift it to give me our first married kiss... but another part is thinking we're 40 years old, we're too old for it.

I'm curious to hear your thoughts?

My wife and I intended to use blushers, and we were 56 and 41 on our wedding day. (We didn't only because we both forgot on the day.) If you like the idea, do it, and don't worry about your age.

I'm not a fan of the blusher for anyone, but I don't think age has anything to do with it. If you like it, wear it.

I think a blusher is very romantic and beautiful, yet individual. Picture yourself that day standing at the end of the aisle waiting to walk down to your groom - do you see yourself with a blusher or without? Tough question but I have found "visualization" of how I want to look and feel to be helpful to me in putting together my ensemble.

I chose no blusher...but go for it if that is what you like!

The only reason I did not go with a blusher was a practical one, not age related. It is going to be hot and I thought it would probably make me a little hotter (and not in a good way!). I did not want to be all smeary makeup by the end of what is going to be a 20-25 minute ceremony. If you like it and can tolerate something over your face for as long as your ceremony is going to be, go for it!
