Band: At Fault

Looking at the band At Fault. Anyone ever had them or been to a wedding where they played? Any feedback would be helpful. Thanks!

I don't want to be rude, but we went to see them per our planners suggestion. The male singer screamed in the microphone the whole time and at everyone else in the audience. My firance looked at me with bulging eyes when they played. I've posted to this board before,  but I created this name so my planner does not retaliate on me for criticizing a band that she manages. She really pushes them on you. Sorry. We looked at the Top Cats, Louisina Spice, After 8 and Bucktown Allstars which were really good.

I'm not saying she would retaliate. I just don't want to cause any drama or hurt feelings with her.

I had a 1 time meeting with that planner, and they definitely pushed At Fault for a band.  We went to see them at Treasure Chest and Hurricane's and the male singer was definitely boisterous, but they may have just been playing to the crowd.

Yes! Their website says they play and pack bars in St. Bernard Parish. They are a fine local bar band for Chalmette but they are not a band for weddings or any event with class.

try Crescent City Soul - great band but not well known because they recently had to change their name. www.crescentcitysoul.com

They played at a wedding I attended last week, and I found them to be very entertaining and played a wide variety that pleased both the younger and older guest. I recall a really cute moment when one of the youngest child guest stood before the stage gazing at the lead vocalist and in an endearing manner the singer serenaded the little one. It was really sweet.

  • I had the pleasure of hearing this band a few weeks ago at a friend's wedding.  We had a blast.  The band has a very well organized variety of music so every age and personality will get to hear something they like.  They really get the guest involved in the action and certainly encourage dancing.  I would definitly recommend them!
