Men's Wedding Bands

We've looked online but want to get in some stores to look and try stuff on.  Since Robin Bros closed, I really don't know where else to start in the city.

 Suggestions?!

We have gotten most our jewelry at Helzberg.

We went to several mall jewlery stores to try things on, then, when he chose what he wanted, we went to our jewler and he ordered it.

Can you wait until April? Try the Jewelry Show in Rosemont (you can take the blue line out and walk two blocks to the convention center). I bought my band with diamonds for about one-third the price I found in stores (and I searched EVERYwhere) and that included a gemologist certification on site. My FI also bought his ring for about half what we found it for in stores.

There are a lot of different sellers and you can compare prices and styles all in one place.

Also head over to Jewelers Row and you can hit a few places all at once. : ) GL!

We used Golden Dreams Jewelers on Jewelers Row. Max was great. We just picked up my wedding band today. He's good if you want something custom designed. If you just want something simple then I would order online. The rings are sooo much cheaper. My Fiance went to a few stores and just tried stuff on to see what he really liked first.

Ditto on the jewelry show @ Rosemont! Just bought my wedding band there a few weeks ago & LOVE it (not to mention, a great deal). I would definitely recommend it! And it's free as long as you register online before the weekend of the show.

We went to Windy City Diamonds on Wabash. We've been working with Jim- he's super nice and is engraving our bands for free!

Thanks for the ideas...my FI wants something pretty plain, so our plan is to look in stores to get sized and decide on material and design then search online.

For the Jewelry Show at Rosemont, is it local vendors that attend?  Do you buy it on the spot there and take it home or do you order it?

Also, would the Jewlery Show be a good place for me to look for my wedding jewelry, earrings and bracelet?

    Thanks!

For my ring we went to Monique's on Jeweler's Row.  She did a fabulous job.  When we went back for his ring, they looked just like the ones at Roger's & Holland's, Helzberg, basically just like the ones at any mall but charged  4 times the price.  We ended up getting his ring at the mall on sale for $100.  He didn't want anything too flashy and we got  a great deal.

    We bought ours here:  http://www.titaniumera.com/

It's make of titanium.  Super light weight--it's like he's wearing nothing!  And cheap, but not cheap-looking.
