Helpp venue/reception

I need some help i need a venue preferablly were we can get married and have the reception at. I was originally going to do it at Goddard state park but they dont allow any alcohol which isnt a big deal to me but to every one else so... i need a CHEAP, affordable place since were paying for it outselves, and would love its it between rhode island and worcester ma...any ideas please help!!

    I think cheap is subjective. Some people might consider a $10,000 wedding to be cheap, but others might only want to spend $5,000 on everything. If you let us know your budget for a venue and food, we might be able to guide you better.

    How many guests are you planning to have? That's the kicker. You could absolutely do less than $5K but I would say for around 75-100 guests. I'm getting married at Independence Harbor in Assonet, MA. If you choose to get married on a Thursday or Friday evening the ceremony is free. The hall comes with linens and centerpieces and their menu is very reasonable. They offer discounts for Thursday evenings as well on the menu and have off season discounts. The place is spectacular so I would absolutely recommend contacting them.

    How many people are you having and when are you having it? We are doing our reception (food/booze/cake/apps/) for $5000 at Black Swan in Georgetown. We're doing it offseason though. Couldn't be happier with the place....and at this point, with what we've been through with planning, we're thrilled with what we have at Black Swan.

    Several locations will offer off-season discounts (usually Nov-March).

    Check out Blissful Meadows Golf Club in Uxbridge, MA.  Beautiful venue - there is a gazebo for an outdoor ceremony.  The Oak Room and outdoor patio for cocktail hour and The Chestnut Room for the reception.

    Incredibly priced, delicious food and great staff.
