  Couple points to consider, 1) Do you have a venue booked yet? Because the colors of your venue could dictate whether or not one or the other of those color schemes will work. 2) If you love the look of the sunset colors, think about how you'll incorporate/display them- will you have each bridesmaid/groomsmen pair dressed in a different color (one dark purple, one fuschia, one pink, one orange, etc)? 3) Do you have a theme in mind that would lend itself better to one color scheme over the other? 4) Have you checked with your FI as to whether or not the guys will be cool with pink accents?
  If you can figure out which colors set will work best in your venue and how you can best present those colors to have the appearance & style you want, I think you'll know which colors will be better.
  That said, we're doing deep teal, mango and pink champagne- they're richer, brighter colors than generally expected for a November wedding, but it works well for us, our venue, and wedding vision.

  We picked a theme first. All I knew was I wanted my daughter dressed as a fairy so we went off of that and decided it would be an enchanted forest theme. So our colors are plum purple and hunter green with accents of ivory, gold, and browns. Just go with what you like

  If you like purple, orange, and pink then go with it!  I can picture many interesting ways to use those colors in a wedding.  Have fun with it!
