Ceremony/reception site

Hey was looking for help finding a venue near River Falls or Hudson, Wi.  We've been looking in Stillwater but everything there books up pretty fast.  Looking at a place for September or October 2012.  Any suggestions would be a blessing!  Especially if anyone knows of any barns or farms near by.  Thanks!

Oak Marsh Golf Course is in Oakdale but right off 94 in the Woodbury area. Beautiful site for ceremony and reception. We are having our reception there.

    Here is the website!!!

This is kind of an obvious one if you've been looking in Stillwater, but have you tried the Historic Courthouse? It is fairly popular, but if you're a little flexible about the exact date, I'd think they'd have something available. I had a super short engagement and only booked with the Courthouse like 6 months prior to my wedding.

Not sure if you'd want the wedding here, but you could look into Afton Alps Ski lodge in Hastings for the reception. My cousin's wedding is there in a few weeks, and they've been great to work with and have given her very good prices on food.

We just booked the Carpenter St. Croix Valley Nature Center in Hastings, MN for our ceremony and it's beautiful! We've had our reception site since March and that's Kilkarney Hills Golf Course in River Falls, WI. We fell in love with all the windows at the reception site and apparently the sun streams through the windows when it sets. So excited. We spent a lot of time looking for ceremony sites because we didn't want to get married in a church. I'm not sure what your budget is but there is a barn in River Falls, WI that the owner rents out for weddings that is beautiful and he has a lot of suggestions on set-up, etc. His name is Todd Larson and the address is 220 State Road 65, River Falls, WI (if you live close by). It's really pretty. My fiance' and I both went to school at UWRF so that's where we decided to have our reception. In Hudson there is Prospect Park that overlooks the St. Croix River and there is also a pavillion that you can rent if you want both your ceremony and reception at the same place. Stillwater also has the gazebo right on the waterfront. You can also get married at the University in River Falls, they have an outdoor amphitheatre where they usually do ceremonies and a ballroom inside. Sorry this is so scattered, but I hope it helps! I'll see if I can remember more.

Yeah we were going to go with the Historic Courthouse, but they are all booked for Saturdays until Thanksgiving weekend of 2012.  We still might have it there but it would have to be on a Friday.

When I was looking, I considered The Outing Lodge.

We didn't go with them because we choose to have a winter wedding.

I know it's a ways but I'm getting married at panel valley gardens in Scandia and it's incredible! Check out their website!
