Engagement Picture Ideas

Hello Ladies.  My engagement shoot is coming up.  Does anyone have any unique ideas indoor or outdoor?  I am trying to go away from the traditional "down town" engagement pictures.

    I really like e-pics from Patapsco State Park.  Not really "unique" but opposite of the "city" theme. 
    Unique... I saw pics of one couple do e-pics in the snow and their pictures were gorgeous!  Hard to plan with a photographer, however, the photographer was a friend of theirs so he was more flexiable with them.
    You may want to consider a location that has a special meaning: where he proposed, where you met, where you went to school, a location of a special date, etc.

    I have also seen some at Sandy Point State Park on the water.

    Are there any particular locations where you love the setting?  We did ours at Rocks State Park and with the rock outcroppings, trees and creek it was much more 'us' than pictures downtown or in one of the city parks would have been.

    When I did my engagement shots, my photographers (CarmenWangPhotographer) helped me a lot.  They have so many great ideas and the photos are awesome! 

    The best way is to communicate with your photographer.

    I really like Cromwell Valley Park (www.cromwellvalleypark.org)  up by Loch Raven Reservoir.
    Jerusalem Mill (www.jerusalemmill.org) is also a really cool historic place with lots of great places to shoot.
    The waterfront in Columbia is also beautiful for engagement pics!
    A pumpkin patch would provide some great backgrounds & props too!

    We did ours on our college campus.  That's where we met.  It was between there or Ocean City.
