Questions to ask references?

I am wondering if anyone has suggestions as to questions I could ask a reference from a photographer? I had plenty of questions to ask the photographer himself but I am drawing a blank when it comes to questions to ask his previous clients.

Another one or two to add to the list,

-Did you get the kind of photos you were expecting?

-How do you feel your photos compare to P's website/album/facebook page?

Thanks! It's one of just a handful of "okay" photos we got that day..... That's why I try to give help to new brides, I learned the hard way about bad photographers.
