Proud of My Find!

I've been on the hunt for blue mason jars for a while, now...

Today, I perused eBay and Craigslist. On Craigslist, a fellow bride is selling jars for $6/each. Fortunately, I won 2 dozen jars for $91! That comes out to <$4/jar!

So proud of my find and I can't wait to start my DIY projects! So excited! First thing I'm going to try when the jars come in: flower arrangement and bouquet! Should be fun. :)

Congrats. Doesn't it feel good to find deals? I love CL and Ebay.

Awesome..funny you mention that!  I was just looking at mason jars tonight!  I held off on buying them for the moment.  Are you shipping them to Maui or taking them in luggage?  When are you getting married again!?  I bought blue vintage bottles (milk jars)  that I am using for my flower arrangements at Olowalu.  Are you doing a vintage theme as well!??  Maybe we can share idea's/supplies!!

<div>Yea! I looked at the past "wins" for mason jars on eBay and there were ones for a dozen of the quart sized ones that sold for <$35! Not too shabby. Some go out of control, though. After I had won mine for $27/dozen, one was selling for $40+/dozen! Not including shipping! So, just keep an eye out <img src="http://cdn.cl9.vanillaforums.com/downloaded/ver1.0/content/scripts/tinymce/plugins/emotions/images/smiley-wink.gif" border="0" alt="Wink" title="Wink" /></div><div>
</div><div>Right now the current plan is to take them with us in our luggage. Hopefully everyone in our family will be willing to pack one with them in their carry-on, so it won't be a problem. I bought two dozen, so in case any break I have back-ups.</div><div>
</div><div>I want to get those white hobnail vases. I think they are so cute! Thinking of getting them in different shapes and sizes to add variety.</div><div>
</div><div>YES, totally doing a vintage them and yes, we should share ideas and possibly stuff! I'm getting married on 12-12-12, what about you? PM me and we'll talk more...!  :) I'll PM you my e-mail address right now</div>
