Reception Footwear

Ok, so this has been a HUGE thorn in my side! I want something simple, something comfortable, something fun....
I have tried on all sorts of sandals, problem is a lot feel like they are going to fall off.
I have tried on all sorts of ballet flats, problem is for some reason I don't find most that comfortable.

Was on Ravelry, a site I am TOTALLY addicted to and saw some patterns that made me think wait, I could probably MAKE something to wear for the reception. Crocheted would be UBER comfortable, and fabric paint lets you give any crocheted footwear a non slip surface.

Britt, I think that this is a VERY cool idea!!! For some reason 9 times out of 10 I can't vote in these polls, but I really like #3 (I almost chose #2 but I like the bow in #3 b/c it just adds some oomph! #4 is nice too, but I feel are a bit casual (if that's the right word) :-)

I like the personal touch, I think they'd be UBER comfortable and they'd cost me like NOTHING because I'm a crocheting ADDICT and have wool EVERYWHERE in my house hahaha

K, I am trying to make a couple (worst case scenario I wind up with extra slippers around the house lol). I will post pictures of what they look like made in my colours
